The Foundation is just that: a collection of sounds processed using the SP1200 to give the kicks and snares a dirty yet punchy feel. The actual hardware was used to painstakingly process each individual hit, allowing producers to add a little of that SP sound to their production.

As the credits stacked up, his production team took shape, and one of those in house producers was Rod "KP" Kirkpatrick (Fu-Schnickens, Keith Murray, Super Cat, Erick Sermon, and more), capturing that East Coast funk vibe in which the Green-Eyed Bandit became famous.
